Today is an Elementary B day.
Congratulations to the following high school students who were winners in this week’s pats drawing- Payton Z., Josh S., and Haley K. See Ms. Schroeder for your prize.
There will be a FFA meeting Monday at 7:00pm in the ag room.
The Annual PTO Carnival and Raffle will be held TODAY from 5:30 – 7:30 in the Albany school gyms and cafeteria. The raffle has prizes ranging from gift baskets from local businesses and sponsors to Country on the River tickets. There will be even more games and attractions this year including a bounce house, an obstacle course, a cake walk, face painting, hair chalk, hair beading,a fire truck and even a visit from Belle, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, three Green County Dairy Queens and more! Raffle tickets are $1.00 each and are available in the Elementary office and will also be available at the event. Tickets for games and attractions start at $0.50 each. There will be walking tacos, hot dogs, snow cones and more being offered for dinner at a small cost. Help is always welcomed and appreciated. Attention girls playing volleyball next year: Nike Volleyball camps will be held at UW-Platteville this July for ages 12-18 and grades 1-6. For more info., come to the HS office for enrollment forms. Registration is due by June 1st.

Attention Seniors: Remember that the application for the Albany Community Scholarship is due to Ms. Schroeder by 3:15 TODAY, April 28. NO LATE APPLICATIONS ACCEPTED. Several other scholarships are due to Ms. Schulz by NEXT Monday, May 1st!
Attention 8th – 10th graders: If you are interested in running for HS Student Council class representative for next year, pick up a nomination form in the office. At this time, NO 8th graders have applied. Forms are due TODAY to the office. No late forms will be accepted.
Sign up by May 1st for fun Summer School Activities. Enrollment forms are on the website or in the offices.
Tuesday is the Quarter 4 mid-term progress report cut-off date. This will affect your continued participation in spring sports. Are all your assignments turned in and tests made up?
Basketball clinics for boys in 1st-6th grade will be held Saturday, May 6th and May 20th from 9:00-11:00am led by High School Varsity Coach Derek Allen. The emphasis will be on fundamentals, learning the rules of basketball, and having fun. All skill levels are welcome. Cost is $5.00 per session and players who attend both sessions will receive an Albany Comet t-shirt. Please register by emailing Coach Allen by NEXT WEDNEDAY, May 3 at email@example.com to let him know what sessions you will be attending and the t-shirt size.
Prom is Saturday, May 6. $10 tickets at the door. $5.00 for spectators. If you are bringing an out of town guest to prom, you MUST sign them up in the high school office before Friday, May 5. If you do not sign them up, they CANNOT come to prom or post prom!
