Albany Community Center

The Albany Community Center is open after school until 5:30 pm Monday – Friday during the school year.  Adults are welcome to use our exercise facility and children 4th grade and up are welcome to hang out in our student commons area.  Children 3rd grade and under must get pre-approval from the Community Center Director before they are allowed and all students must have a signed permission slip.

If school closes early for any reason the Community Center will not be open.  Be sure your child knows what to do and where to go in case of an unplanned early release from school.  If school does not close early, but after school activities are cancelled, the Community Center will remain open until the normal closing time.

The Community Center offers Zumba on Wednesday and Friday from 6:00-6:45 in the school cafeteria.  The cost is $28 for 8 sessions.  Try the first class for free!

If you’re looking for a place to have a birthday party, have it at the Albany Community Center!  For $25 (and a separate refundable $25 deposit) you can rent the Community Center for a 3 hour party.  For more information check out the Community Center Use of Facility Agreement Form located on our webpage or contact the Director for more details.

We are looking for people to teach classes at the Community Center for any age.  Love to knit?  How about teaching a beginners knitting class?  Enjoy painting?  Why not have a paint class?  Instructors split the fees 80/20 with the Community Center.  Fill out the ACC Course Application located on our webpage or contact the Director for more details.

To reach the Community Center office dial 862-3406 extension 2600.
For the Student Lounge dial 862-3406 extension 2645.

Thank you.
