Today is an A day and an Elementary A day

Attn students in MS:  6th hour is 6th grade Band day‚Äč

All juniors need to report to the health room, across from Mr. Broughton's classroom, for 5th Hour TODAY and please bring a pencil!   

FLEX TODAY:  there will be a Senior Class meeting & Junior Class meeting.  Band members (unless you are junior or senior) should go to the Band meeting.  Sophomores and freshmen do Career Cruising during FLEX. 

An admissions counselor from Upper Iowa University will be here TODAY during lunch in the lobby.  If you are interested or have questions, stop by the table.

An advocate from Green Haven Family Advocates will be here Tuesday during lunch in the lobby handing out information about Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month and talking with any students that want to stop by the table.

In observance of Black History Month there is a trivia contest this week for all high school students. If you want to put a guess in the bucket by the office do so by 12:45 each day to be eligible to win. One winner will be chosen from all of the correct answers. Today's question is "Where was the first "sit-in" at a segregated lunch counter?" Good luck! 

Attention FFA members: If you are interested in becoming an FFA officer for next year, please stop in the Ag room and talk to Mr. Rupp.

National Honor Society will be having a half-time shoot out at tonight's boys basketball game.  The cost is $1 and if you make the shot you will win a Gatorade.  Some of the proceeds from this game and other half-time shoot outs will go to local organizations or funds.  

Tonight will be BOYS SENIOR NIGHT vs. Madison Country Day.  There will be a short recognition before the starting line-ups for our SENIORS.  Game starts at 7:00pm

Our Lady Comets will host the Juda Panthers TOMORROW in a WIAA Regional contest.  Game time will be 7:00pm with warm-ups starting at 6:40pm.  Since this is a WIAA event, NO SCHOOL PASSES, SENIOR CITIZEN PASSES or any other passes are allowed.  All spectators must pay WIAA prices and all admissions are $5 per person and youth under the age of six are $1.  Doors will open to allow spectators in at 6:00pm on February 20th.  Come on out and support your Lady Comets TOMORROW NIGHT.

THIS is FFA week.  Here are the dress up days:  Tuesday - Farm Day, dress as a farmer or animals.  Wednesday - The Flag, wear red, white & blue.  Thursday - Blue & Gold day.  Friday - Greenhand day, wear your green!  Prizes awarded to the best dressed each day!  Dodgeball will be held during lunch.  Sign up on the office window.  Ag Olympics and the assembly will be held Friday at 2:15pm. 

The FACS room is missing many metal forks.  If you have borrowed any silverware from Mrs. Russell's room, please return in at your earliest convenience.

Congrats to the Fury Hockey Team on their Regional title after trouncing Badger Lightning 12-1. Alyssa was game points leader with two goals and three assists while Haley had two goals and one assist. They play in Sectional Semi-Finals Feb. 20 in Janesville at 7:00 pm.
