Instructional Model - COVID 19


Hello High School Families

I have a few announcements for you related to this Friday, January 15th and 2nd semester beginning on January 19.

Special Education Students and 9th grade students have the opportunity to attend every day.

Friday January 15 Attendance Criteria:

  • Only students who are potentially failing for the 1st semester in specific courses will be contacted by the school to attend on Friday.
  • Those students will need to attend for those specific periods communicated; during this time the teacher will provide extra assistance
  • Virtual students meeting this criteria will also be required to attend/login during the time to receive extra assistance
  • These students will be required to attend school the entire day unless the parent communicates to the school that they are excused after these periods are complete.
  • The remainder of the periods will be entered as exempt and will not count toward excused absences for attendance purposes.
  • Teachers will be taking attendance on the students who are required to attend
  • All other high school students will not be required to attend or login into their courses.
  • Communication to families will be sent out Wednesday evening for those students who need to attend on Friday.  You will receive this notice through an email from the school indicating what specific periods and courses are required.
