The 1st graders were busy with pumpkin seed math this morning. They sorted and counted pumpkin seeds by 5s and 10s to see if their estimates were correct!

2nd graders had a variety of reactions to a spooky story they heard during library time today 😜💀We read The Skull by Jon Klassen.



Congratulations to recent Albany High School graduates Ashley Letcher, Rhylie Gough, and Linsey Mueller on receiving the FFA American Degree at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis. This award represents the highest degree achievable in the National FFA Organization.


Any Albany HS girls or boys that are interested in HS wrestling this winter for Parkview-Albany should meet with Mr. Doescher this week about your interest. Plans and decisions about transportation and coaching roles are being put in place for the upcoming wrestling season and participation numbers will impact these decisions. Please communicate your interest to Mr. Doescher by Friday, November 1st.

The WIAA D3 CC Sectional is coming to Albany this Saturday, October 26th. The girls varsity race starts at 11:00am & will be followed by the boys varsity race at 11:45am. The course opens at 9:30am for specators. (W1092 Dunphy Road, Albany, WI. 53502)
This is a WIAA Sectional which requires $5 admission fee per person. All admissions will be collected on Dunphy Road before parking in a farm field near the course. All traffic must enter from WEST to EAST for runner safety. (Please read attached directions)
We hope to see a great crowd on Saturday. GO COMETS!


Students at Albany Elementary School took part in a School Store fundraiser this fall. To date, families have raised a total of $8855.35 - $7990.00 in gift cards alone for classroom teachers. This is a remarkable feat for our little school! Thank you to those that participated.

Help us spread the word - Our high school staff and students are offering yard raking services to Albany community members. Contact us to sign up or sign up another person who needs assistance.


The Albany PTO will hold their Trunk or Treat event this Friday, October 25th from 6:00 - 8:00 at the Albany Lion's Club. In addition to the trunks, there is music and dancing, a bake sale and 50/50 raffle.

We would like to invite you to Albany’s Veterans Day assembly, hosted by the Civics classes, held at Albany Schools (309 Vinton St. Albany, WI. 53502) on Monday, November 11th, 2024, from 9:45 A.M. to roughly 10:45 A.M. The assembly will include performances by the school’s band and choir, as well as quotes/poems read by the Civics students, and more. All guests are asked to enter at the new school entrance (gym entrance) on Vinton Street and proceed to the gym. We hope to see you there!
