Some of the ways we've been keeping busy at summer school!

Middle School Students spent their last day of Summer School fishing in Monticello. The fish were small but the smiles were big and much fun was had by all.

"A legacy is something that a person leaves behind for everyone to remember!"
Wednesday, June 26th marked the final time that Alana Durtschi laced up her basketball shoes in her prep career. Alana competed in the WBCA State All-Star Game as a member of the D5 South team. In typical Alana fashion, the south all-stars defeated the north all-stars in a battle at the JAG Fieldhouse in the Wisconsin Dells.
Alana finishes her remarkable career with a 96-12 career record in addition to conference and state all-star game victories.
Individually, Alana will go down as one of the most prolific girls' basketball players to come out of Albany. Alana finished her career in the TOP 3 of all of the following individual statistical categories: (Points, Rebounds, Assists, Steals) She was named all-conference three times, conference POY twice, D5 1st team all-state twice, & eclipsed the 1,000 point mark.
As a leader of the team, Alana's team accomplishments include: Four time regional champion, two time conference champion, four time sectional finalist, two time state qualifier, & STATE CHAMPION!
Thank you for the memories, dedication, leadership, & the legacy that you have left the Albany "Comets" & Albany-Monticello "Space Stallions" for years to come!

Summer school has been a blast! Tomorrow, Thursday, June 27th, is our final day of elementary and middle school classes. Students will celebrate with an ice cream treat at the end of the day.
Theo's Treats Ice Cream Truck will be open for sales to the community starting at 12:00!

Oh, we were pretty excited at summer school when our card towers actually held the items we tested!

The WBCA D5 Girls State Basketball All-Star Game will take place on Wednesday, June 26th at 9:00am at the JAG Fieldhouse in the Wisconsin Dells. Albany's Alana Durtschi will represent the Albany-Monticello girls basketball team in this game. This is a great honor for Alana as she is one of the select few in the entire state to have earned the opportunity to play in this game. Get to the Wisconsin Dells on Wednesday, June 26th for a 9:00am tip time to watch Alana lace up her basketball shoes one last time. Congratulations Alana on your great achievement and good luck in your game!
