It's National Hot Lunch Week. Our AWESOME lunchroom staff are having a coloring contest. Judging will be done on Thursday morning and announced on Friday Morning. One student from each class will be hand-selected by Mr Ritzert and one overall winner out of the whole elementary will be picked by Kitchen Staff!

The Parkview-Albany varsity home football game for Friday, September 29th vs. Fennimore has been canceled due to injuries & illness. This game won't be made-up.

Our first 4K friend has hit the 100 book mark in the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program! Our 4K families are working with the Albertson Memorial Library to be 1,000 books smarter by counting books that are read to students at school and at home. Congratulations!!

Today Mr. Ritzert had to trade his Principal's Chair for a student chair. Thank you to this student for using her Comet CARE Principal Chair Certificate....Living the Life!


8th Grade students have been studying scatter plots and trend lines. Yesterday they were given some data and had to draw scatter plots and determine how plant height was changed based on different variables such as amount of sunlight, number of seeds, diameter of the pot, and depth of the seed.
